How to do it
Drop into a half squat with your chest up and hold the position. Tap one foot out to the side and bring it back, then tap the other foot out, staying low in the squat the entire time. Keep alternating taps without standing up between reps to keep your legs under constant tension.
- 1Feel your quads and glutes burn from holding the squat low
- 2Keep your weight in your heels and chest tall
- 3Stay braced through your core as you tap side to side
Common mistakes
- Don't stand up between taps
- Avoid letting your knees cave inward
- Don't round your back as you hold the squat
