How to do it

Stand facing a wall at arm's length and place your fists against it at chest height, knuckles down and wrists straight. Bend your elbows to bring your chest toward the wall, then press back to the start while keeping your body in a straight line.

  1. 1Feel your chest and triceps press you away from the wall
  2. 2Keep your wrists straight and weight on your knuckles
  3. 3Hold a tight line from head to heels with your core braced

Common mistakes

  • Do not let your hips sag or push your butt back
  • Avoid flaring your elbows out wide
  • Do not bend your wrists; keep the fist and forearm aligned
