How to do it
Stand tall, then drive one knee up and tap it with the opposite hand across your body. As you lower the leg, reach the same hand up toward the sky and extend tall. Alternate sides in a flowing, rhythmic pattern.
- 1A cross-body crunch through the obliques on the knee tap
- 2A full reach and tall stretch as the hand goes up
- 3The standing leg staying balanced through the switch
Common mistakes
- Collapsing forward to meet the knee with the hand
- Skipping the full overhead reach at the top
- Moving so fast you lose your balance
Muscles worked
