How to do it
Lie on a flat bench holding a kettlebell in each hand at chest level with a reverse, palms-toward-your-feet grip. Lower the kettlebells toward your chest until your elbows reach about 90 degrees, then press them back up until your arms are extended. Keep your shoulder blades pinned and control the bells through the full path.
- 1Drive the kettlebells upward, feeling your chest and triceps work through
- 2the reverse grip
- 3Keep your shoulder blades pinned to the bench and maintain a steady tempo
- 4Feel the bells hang stable as you balance them over your chest
Common mistakes
- Don't bounce the kettlebells off your chest or lose upper back tightness
- Avoid flaring your elbows out wide
- Don't let the bells drift toward your face; press in a consistent path
