How to do it
Lie flat on a bench holding a single kettlebell by the horns with both hands above your chest. Keep your arms slightly bent and lower the bell in an arc behind your head until you feel a stretch through your chest and lats. Pull it back over your chest using your lats and chest to return to the start.
- 1Feel a deep stretch in your lats and chest as the bell travels behind
- 2your head
- 3Keep a slight bend in your elbows and brace your core to stay stable
- 4Squeeze your lats and pecs to pull the weight back over your chest
Common mistakes
- Avoid dropping your hips or flaring your ribs; keep the torso anchored
- Do not lock your elbows or let the bell drift too far back
- Avoid shrugging; keep your shoulders down away from your ears
