How to do it
Lie on an incline bench holding a kettlebell in each hand above your chest with a slight bend in your elbows. Open your arms out wide in an arc, then bring them together while rotating your wrists so your palms turn in and squeeze at the top. The twist at the top adds an extra inner-chest contraction.
- 1Feel a stretch across your upper chest at the bottom of the arc
- 2Squeeze your inner chest as you twist your palms in at the top
- 3Keep a fixed soft bend in your elbows throughout
Common mistakes
- Avoid bending your elbows more to turn it into a press
- Don't drop your arms too low and stress the shoulders
- Avoid clanging the kettlebells together at the top
