How to do it
Lie on an incline bench holding a kettlebell in each hand at shoulder level with palms facing in. Press the kettlebells up while rotating your wrists so your palms face forward at the top, then reverse the twist as you lower under control to your upper chest.
- 1Your upper chest and triceps pressing the kettlebells up from the incline
- 2Your shoulder blades pulled together and down to engage the pecs
- 3A smooth wrist rotation that peaks the chest contraction at the top
Common mistakes
- Flaring your elbows too wide as you press
- Arching your back off the bench
- Rushing the twist or bouncing the kettlebells at the bottom
