How to do it
Lie on an incline bench holding a kettlebell in each hand at chest level with your palms facing each other. Press the kettlebells up while keeping the neutral grip, then lower them to your upper chest under control. The neutral grip eases shoulder strain and shifts emphasis toward the inner chest and triceps.
- 1Feel your upper chest and triceps drive the kettlebells up
- 2Keep your palms facing each other through the whole press
- 3Lower to your upper chest and press straight up
Common mistakes
- Avoid flaring your elbows wide; keep them tucked with the neutral grip
- Don't arch your back off the bench
- Avoid letting the kettlebells drift apart at the top
