How to do it
Lie on an incline bench holding a kettlebell in each hand above your chest with a slight bend in your elbows. Open your arms out wide in an arc until you feel a stretch across your chest, then bring them back together over your upper chest. Keep the elbow angle fixed throughout.
- 1Feel a stretch across your upper chest at the bottom of the arc
- 2Keep a soft, fixed bend in your elbows the whole time
- 3Squeeze your chest as you bring the kettlebells together
Common mistakes
- Avoid bending your elbows more to turn it into a press
- Don't drop your arms too low and stress the shoulders
- Avoid clanging the kettlebells together at the top
Muscles worked
