How to do it
Sit back on an incline bench holding a kettlebell in each hand with arms hanging and palms facing up. Curl the kettlebells toward your shoulders while keeping your elbows fixed back, then lower slowly. The incline puts the biceps under a deep stretch at the bottom.
- 1Feel a deep stretch in your biceps at the bottom of each rep
- 2Keep your elbows back and palms up to load the long head
- 3Lower slowly to feel the eccentric work through your arms
Common mistakes
- Don't swing the kettlebells or let your elbows drift forward
- Avoid using your shoulders to help lift the weight
- Don't cut the stretch short at the bottom
