How to do it
Sit back on an incline bench holding a kettlebell in each hand with arms hanging and palms facing up. Curl one kettlebell toward your shoulder while the other stays extended, then lower and alternate sides. The incline keeps each biceps under a deep stretch between reps.
- 1Feel a deep stretch in the working biceps at the bottom
- 2Keep your elbows back and palms up as you curl one side
- 3Lower slowly and alternate without losing tension
Common mistakes
- Don't swing the kettlebell or let your elbow drift forward
- Avoid rocking your torso to help lift the weight
- Don't rush; control each arm independently
Muscles worked
The kettlebell incline alternate curl mainly works the biceps, with the forearms assisting.
