How to do it
Stand tall holding a kettlebell in each hand by the handle, arms hanging at your sides with palms facing forward. Curl one kettlebell up toward your shoulder by bending the elbow, then lower it under control as you begin curling the other side. Alternate arms for your reps, keeping the torso still.
- 1Feel the biceps contract as you curl each kettlebell up
- 2Keep your elbows pinned to your sides so the work stays in the arm
- 3Lower each rep slowly to feel the stretch on the way down
Common mistakes
- Do not swing the kettlebell or rock your torso to lift it
- Avoid letting the elbow drift forward as you curl
- Do not let the offset weight of the bell twist your wrist
