How to do it
Place your forearms on an elevated surface like a bench or box and walk your feet back so your body forms a straight line from head to heels at an incline. Brace your core, squeeze your glutes, and hold the position, keeping your hips level and your back flat.
- 1Brace your core and feel it hold your spine steady
- 2Squeeze your glutes to keep a straight line head to heels
- 3Press your forearms into the surface to stay tall through the shoulders
Common mistakes
- Do not let your hips sag toward the surface
- Avoid piking your hips up toward the ceiling
- Do not let your head drop; keep it neutral
