How to do it

Set yourself on the glute-ham developer with your feet anchored and your torso upright. Round your upper body forward into a crunch by pulling your ribs toward your hips, then extend back to the start under control.

  1. 1Your upper abs pulling your ribs toward your hips
  2. 2A rounded spine as you crunch forward
  3. 3Your feet anchored to hold the lower body steady

Common mistakes

  • Hinging from the hips instead of crunching the abs
  • Jerking up with momentum out of the bottom
  • Pulling on your neck to lift your torso
