How to do it

Extend one arm straight out in front of you at shoulder height with the palm facing up. Use your other hand to gently press the fingers and palm down and back until you feel a stretch through the front of your forearm and biceps. Keep the elbow straight, hold, then switch arms.

  1. 1A stretch along the front of your upper arm and forearm
  2. 2Your elbow staying fully straight
  3. 3A mild pulling sensation, never sharp pain

Common mistakes

  • Bending the elbow and losing the stretch
  • Cranking the wrist hard enough to hurt
  • Shrugging the shoulder toward your ear
