How to do it

Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and drop into a squat. Explode up into a small jump, land softly back into the squat, then immediately explode into a second, higher jump. Land soft and reset into the squat for the next rep.

  1. 1Drive through your heels and mid-foot to launch each jump
  2. 2Stay tight through your core to control both landings
  3. 3Absorb each landing softly through bent knees and hips

Common mistakes

  • Don't land with locked, stiff legs
  • Avoid letting your knees cave inward on the jumps
  • Don't round your back as you sink between jumps
