How to do it
Stand in doorway with arms on door frame, elbows at shoulder height. Step one foot forward and lean into stretch, feeling it across chest and front of shoulders.
- 1Feel a stretch across your chest and front shoulders with arms on the doorway frame
- 2Lean forward gently and keep your elbows slightly below shoulder height
- 3Breathe deeply and hold the stretch
Common mistakes
- Avoid arching your back or thrusting your ribs forward
- Don't push too hard; ease into the stretch
- Avoid letting your head jut forward
