How to do it

Stand on a low box, step off, and land softly on both feet. The instant you touch the ground, explode straight up as high as you can, minimizing your time on the floor.

  1. 1Land soft through the balls of your feet and feel your legs load like a
  2. 2spring
  3. 3Spend as little time on the ground as possible before exploding up
  4. 4Drive through your quads, glutes, and calves on the jump

Common mistakes

  • Do not land stiff-legged or with locked knees
  • Do not pause on the ground; the rebound should be immediate
  • Do not let your knees cave inward on landing
