How to do it

Set a low cable pulley and grip a single handle with your palm up, standing side-on so the cable runs across your body toward the stack. Keeping your elbow pinned to your side, curl the handle up and slightly across, then lower under control. Complete the set, then switch arms.

  1. 1Inner biceps contracting as you curl up and across
  2. 2Elbow staying fixed against your side
  3. 3A full stretch in the biceps as you lower

Common mistakes

  • Letting your elbow drift forward or away from your body
  • Swinging your torso to start the curl
