How to do it
Set a low cable pulley and sit back on an incline bench facing away from the stack, holding the handle with your arm hanging down and palm up. Curl the handle toward your shoulder against the constant cable tension, keeping your elbow back, then lower slowly to a full stretch.
- 1A deep stretch in the biceps at the bottom of the range
- 2Constant cable tension through the whole curl
- 3Your elbow staying back to load the long head
Common mistakes
- Letting your elbow drift forward as you curl
- Using your shoulder or body to swing the handle up
- Cutting the lowering phase short and losing the stretch
