How to do it
Attach a V-bar to a low cable pulley and grip it with palms up. Keep your elbows pinned to your sides and curl the bar up toward your shoulders, then lower slowly against the cable tension.
- 1Keep your elbows fixed at your sides as you curl
- 2Squeeze the biceps hard at the top of the rep
- 3Control the lowering and feel the stretch at the bottom
Common mistakes
- Don't swing your torso or use your back to lift
- Avoid letting your elbows drift forward
- Don't drop the weight fast on the way down
