How to do it

Set a cable pulley to the low position and attach a single handle. Stand facing the machine and grip the handle with a neutral grip, palm facing in. Keeping your elbow tucked to your torso, curl the handle across your body toward the opposite shoulder. Squeeze at the top, lower under control, then repeat on the other side.

  2. 2Keep your upper arm pinned to your torso and wrist neutral

Common mistakes

  • Avoid swinging your torso or using momentum
  • Don't let your elbow drift away from your side
  • Avoid bending your wrist; keep it aligned with your forearm
