How to do it
Attach an SZ bar to a low cable pulley and grip the angled ends with palms up. Keep your elbows at your sides and curl the bar toward your shoulders, squeezing your biceps, then lower with control.
- 1Feel your biceps contract as you curl the bar up against the cable
- 2Keep your elbows pinned at your sides so they act as the hinge
- 3Control the lower and keep tension on the cable the whole set
Common mistakes
- Do not swing your torso or use your back to lift the bar
- Avoid letting your elbows drift forward as you curl
- Do not let the weight stack drop fast on the way down
