How to do it
Perform a basic burpee, but add a push-up when in the plank position before jumping feet back to hands.
- 1Feel your whole body working as you squat, kick back, perform a push-up, and jump up
- 2Engage your core to maintain plank during the push-up phase
- 3Drive through your legs to explode up at the end
Common mistakes
- Avoid letting your hips sag during the push-up; maintain form
- Don't skip the full range of motion; ensure chest touches the ground in the push-up
- Avoid landing flat-footed on the jump; land softly and absorb impact
