How to do it
Stand in a boxing stance with hands up by your chin. Throw a right hook by rotating your hips and pivoting your back foot to swing the arm in a horizontal arc, then follow immediately with a left hook, rotating the other way.
- 1Rotation through your hips and core powering each hook
- 2Your back foot pivoting as you turn into the punch
- 3Hands returning to guard between punches
Common mistakes
- Punching with just the arm and no hip rotation
- Dropping your guard hand while the other punches
- Swinging so wide you lose balance
