How to do it

Stand in a boxing stance with hands up. Throw a rear-hand cross straight out, rotating your hips into it, follow with a lead-hand hook swinging horizontally, then finish with another cross, chaining the three punches together.

  1. 1Hip and core rotation driving each punch in the combo
  2. 2A smooth flow from cross to hook to cross
  3. 3Hands snapping back to guard between strikes

Common mistakes

  • Arm-punching without turning the hips
  • Letting the combo get sloppy and off balance
  • Dropping your guard as you chain the punches
