How to do it

Stand sideways to a plyo box. Jump laterally onto the box, land softly, then jump back down to starting position. Repeat for desired reps.

  1. 1Use your glutes and quads to push laterally off the ground
  2. 2Land softly on the box with bent knees
  3. 3Engage your arms to help drive your momentum

Common mistakes

  • Don't land stiff-legged or with locked knees
  • Avoid twisting your knees or ankles on takeoff or landing
  • Don't jump if you aren't balanced, reset between reps
