How to do it

Lie face down on the floor with your legs straight. Curl both heels up toward your glutes by contracting your hamstrings, pause at the top, then lower back down with control. Keep your hips pressed into the floor.

  1. 1Feel your hamstrings contract as you curl your heels up
  2. 2Press your hips into the floor to isolate the hamstrings
  3. 3Lower the legs slowly through a full range

Common mistakes

  • Avoid lifting your hips off the floor
  • Don't swing or use momentum to curl up
  • Avoid stopping short; use the complete range
