How to do it

Step one foot forward as you curl both hands up toward your shoulders, squeezing your biceps at the top. Step back and lower your hands, then alternate the lead foot in a steady, rhythmic pattern.

  1. 1Feel your biceps squeezing as your hands come up toward your shoulders
  2. 2Keep your elbows pinned at your sides as you curl
  3. 3Sync the curl with each forward step and stay tall through your spine

Common mistakes

  • Do not swing your elbows forward or use your body to curl
  • Avoid leaning back as your hands reach the top
  • Do not rush; keep the curl controlled in both directions
