How to do it
Stand on a balance plate or wobble board with feet about hip width and knees softly bent. Hold your hands in front of your chest and rotate your torso side to side while the board challenges your balance, keeping the plate as level as you can.
- 1Obliques rotating the torso while you stay balanced
- 2Ankles and feet working hard to keep the plate level
- 3Core staying braced through every twist
Common mistakes
- Twisting so fast you lose the plate underfoot
- Locking the knees instead of keeping them soft
- Rounding the back; stay tall as you rotate
