How to do it
Lie on your back with legs raised toward the ceiling. Crunch up and twist your torso to reach one hand across toward the opposite foot, then lower and repeat to the other side. Keep your legs steady and the motion driven by your core.
- 1Feel your obliques drive the twist as you reach across
- 2Crunch your shoulder off the floor on each rep
- 3Keep your legs steady and vertical throughout
Common mistakes
- Do not yank on your neck to lift your shoulder
- Avoid letting your lower back arch off the floor
- Do not just reach with your arm while your torso stays flat
Muscles worked
