Use Kovo with Claude and ChatGPT

Once it’s connected, just talk to it. For example:

• “What's my workout today?”
• “How has my bench press changed over the last 3 months?”
• “Which muscles have I trained the least this week?”
• “Build me a 45 minute push day with dumbbells only.”
• “Swap the leg press on my Lower day for something easier on my knees.”
• “Skip today's workout. I'm sick.”

Both assistants ask for this link when you add Kovo:

You need Kovo PRO and the latest version of the Kovo app on your phone.

1. On a computer, open Claude and go to Customize, then Connectors.
2. Click Add, then Add custom connector. Name it Kovo, paste the Kovo link and click Connect.
3. A Kovo page opens. Scan its QR code with your phone’s camera and tap Approve in Kovo.
4. Claude says Kovo is connected. Start a new chat and ask away.

The free Claude plan lets you add one custom connector. Once it’s added, it works in the Claude phone app too.

1. On a computer, open ChatGPT and go to Plugins.
2. Click the plus button, then Add custom MCP server. Name it Kovo, paste the Kovo link as the server URL, choose OAuth and create it.
3. A Kovo page opens. Scan its QR code with your phone’s camera and tap Approve in Kovo.
4. In a new chat, type @ and pick Kovo.

Adding your own plugin needs a paid ChatGPT plan and works on the web. On some plans ChatGPT can only read your Kovo data, not change it.

It can see your workouts, sets, stats, muscle levels, Strength Rank, your Journey and your saved routines. It can make, edit and delete routines, and change your Journey: skip the next workout, change the order of your days, or swap exercises.

It can’t see your email, payment details, messages or clan chat. It can’t log workouts, change your account settings or buy anything. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.

In Kovo, open Settings, then Integrations, and tap Disconnect next to the assistant. It loses access right away. You can also remove Kovo from the assistant’s own settings.

Does it cost anything?

Connecting an assistant is part of Kovo PRO. Claude's free plan lets you add one custom connector. ChatGPT needs a paid plan to add your own plugin.

Why do I approve it in the Kovo app?

Your Kovo account signs in with Apple or Google on your phone, so your phone is where you say yes. Nothing gets in until you tap Approve, and you see exactly what the assistant will be able to do first.

Can it see everything in my account?

No. It can see your training: workouts, sets, stats, your Journey and your routines. It can't see your email, payment details, messages or clan chat, and it can't log workouts, change your settings or buy anything.

Does Kovo use my data to train AI?

No. Kovo sends the assistant only what it asks for to answer you. After that, the company that makes the assistant handles it under its own privacy policy.

It didn't work.

Each try lasts 10 minutes. Go back to your assistant and connect again. Make sure Kovo is up to date.
